Im ever so sorry to hear about your horse Holly. I love hacking out on my pony, i dont know what I'd do without my pony Tess. Today i went out on a hack with my freinds and some idiotic people were driving round lanes at 50 mph and then suddenley noticed there were horses. They wont think its cool when they ruin someone's life. I saw your video on youtube and I cryed. I dont want to think sbout my life without Tess. Oh gosh here i go again....
I just think this is a relly great cause and everyone should be aware of it.
Hello,
I found you on EBay and I thought this really is a great cause. The items you sell really will help save someone else from what has happened to you. I'm so glad that you're able to get back on a horse again. What tramia you must have/do feel. Stay strong. Know there's many of us out here are going to help spread your words. I'm sure you hear from people everywhere, but know what you started as something with just the few people that was there that day to this of people knowing of your cause on the other side of the earth. You're doing big things, girl. Keep strong for that "today" has made me stronger. Thank you. Kathy
Holly looked like a really beautiful mare and it's a truly sad story of how her life came to an end. I hope that driver learned not to go driving round like a crazy fool anymore, I bet what they did is going to live with them the rest of their lives, serves the fool right. Was walking out on the roads on a little walk-out cooling my Jasper down with my cousin Ross behind me on his 15hh welsh cob Melissa and a boy racer came towards us and as he got near us started revving his engine like an idiot then sped off. Thankfully my horse and my cousins horse didn't react to the idiot and his stupidly loud car.
I actually almost lost my life to a horse on the roads in 2003... It was the mare though, not the traffic, that mare was seriously not right in the head and I'd been blackmailed and forced into riding her, we got less than 100 yards out of the stableyard before she lost the plot and went completely psychotic for no reason I could find, throwing herself all over, bucking, broncing, spinning etc... After about 20 minutes of fighting to control her and holding up masses of traffic on all three roads around us she began rearing up, after 2 rears and pulling her back down she snatched the reigns, darted to the right a little and reared up a further 3 times full height, on the third time i'd removed my feet from the stirrups as i was about to jump off her, and just as I left the saddle she tumbled over backwards onto me. I was left paralyzed for a number of months but I'm back on my feet now and still loving horses... |
